South and Central America

Are South America, and Central America destinations for family travel? Of course they are! We have traveled extensively through Central America and South America with kids and are delighted to share our top hints and experiences. Peru was our home for over 10 years, and our Little Miss was born in the Andean city of Cusco. While we no longer live in Peru, we return frequently for adventures and have years of experience in this region of South America, and specifically are delighted to help families who want to travel to Peru. Papa Traveller is Nicaraguan, so we are also based in Granada, Nicaragua with children frequently, and can share our experiences of family travel in this unique country. We've travelled to Costa Rica with small children and kids. Prior to travelling with kids some of our favourite countries in the world include Colombia; while Guatemala calls our name once again.
